Methodology

Every result should be reproducible.

We separate dated public facts from the numbers you enter, show the formula, and name the costs the model does not include.

1. Public facts are dated

Plan prices, limits, and affiliate terms come from the vendor’s current public page whenever possible. Each pricing file records the source URL, currency, billing basis, and check date. A published price is not a quote: location, tax, discount, renewal, usage, and contract terms can change it.

2. Your inputs are assumptions

Task volume, labor cost, setup time, maintenance, error loss, traffic, conversion rate, and profit per sale are not facts about your business until you measure them. Defaults are examples that make the calculator usable; they are never presented as observed performance.

3. Cash and labor stay separate

Where useful, the result shows subscription or hosting cash cost separately from operator time. Total cost is the sum of both over the same horizon. Savings are counted only for work the user says can realistically be removed.

Automation ROI

monthly avoided cost = automatable share × (manual labor + expected error loss)

monthly net savings = monthly avoided cost − software − maintenance labor

payback months = one-time setup cost ÷ positive monthly net savings

Break-even traffic

required conversions = monthly software cost ÷ gross profit per conversion

required visits = required conversions ÷ conversion rate

4. Advertising does not set the ranking

A plan is eligible or ineligible using the public limits and the requirements selected in the calculator. An affiliate relationship does not change a plan’s price, eligibility, or rank. If an approved affiliate link is added later, it will be labeled as advertising.

5. Important exclusions remain visible

Calculators cannot determine feature fit, reliability, data protection, legal compliance, support quality, migration risk, tax, or the value of control. Those items are listed beside the result and must be checked before purchase.

6. Corrections and updates

The site has no public contact form or email address. Prices are periodically rechecked during project maintenance. A stale price never becomes current merely because the calculation still runs.
